Marlborough New Zealand

New Zealand itself is an extraordinary place – a place of stunning beauty, made from elements.

It’s the unique combination of culture, climate, soil and water that make it one of the best places on Earth to make wines – and to explore new ways of making wines even better.

From a viticultural, winemaking and community standpoint, New Zealand has all the right ingredients.

As for Marlborough, it is consistently one of New Zealand’s sunniest and driest regions. The Wairau River bisects the valley west-to-east, with the Richmond Ranges to the north and rolling foothills to the south.

The Maori referred to the Wairau Valley as Kei puta te Wairau – “The place with the hole in the cloud.” The outstanding protection offered by the topography gave birth to one of the worlds leading wine regions.
